An internationally prominent UHNW Chairman is seeking a bright, proactive and highly capable Private PA to join his established private office in Mayfair. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious PA with several years of strong experience who is looking to develop within an exceptionally high-level private environment.

Working alongside a Senior Private PA and the wider Chairman’s Office, you will provide hands‑on private and lifestyle support to the principal and his wife, helping to manage their busy diaries, correspondence, international travel, activities and wider personal requirements.

The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful and highly organised, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and use their initiative rather than waiting for instruction. The principal particularly values people who think ahead, make thoughtful suggestions and find solutions proactively.

International travel forms an important part of the position and may average approximately one week per month, with trips across Europe, the US, Asia and other international destinations. Flexibility around occasional weekends and last‑minute changes will also be required, with coverage shared across the wider PA team.

The core working hours are 7am–7:30pm, with coverage split evenly across the PA team through an early and late shift pattern. On site presence is required in the Mayfair Family Office Monday - Friday.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Provide comprehensive private and lifestyle support to an internationally based UHNW Chairman
  • Manage a busy and constantly evolving private diary, coordinating appointments, activities, meetings and changing priorities
  • Manage high volumes of email and WhatsApp correspondence, identifying priorities and responding appropriately where required
  • Ensure requests and actions are accurately captured, followed through and completed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, transportation and itineraries
  • Accompany the principal on international travel when required
  • Research and proactively suggest activities, restaurants, events, travel and other lifestyle arrangements
  • Coordinate personal appointments, reservations and day‑to‑day private requirement
  • Provide occasional ad hoc support to the wider family Work closely with the Senior Private PA and wider Chairman’s Office to ensure seamless support and effective handovers
  • Liaise with PA interns and other members of the support team as required
  • Remain responsive to last‑minute requests and confidently troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Ideally 3-6 years’ experience within a Private PA, PA or similarly high-level support position
  • Previous experience supporting an UHNW/HNW principal, family office, private household or similarly demanding environment highly advantageous
  • Strong diary and international travel management experience
  • Confident managing email, WhatsApp and other correspondence on behalf of a principal
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage numerous moving parts simultaneously
  • Naturally proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking initiative
  • Able to anticipate requirements and confidently make thoughtful suggestions rather than simply waiting for instruction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong judgement
  • Calm, adaptable and solutions‑focused when priorities change at short notice
  • Positive, hands‑on and genuinely willing to turn your hand to anything required
  • Collaborative and comfortable working closely with a Senior Private PA and wider support team
  • Exceptionally discreet and trustworthy with a strong understanding of UHNW confidentiality
  • Flexible around working hours, international travel and occasional weekend requirements
  • Degree educated preferred
  • Relevant PA qualification advantageous but not essential
  • London based or within a realistic commuting distance of Mayfair
  • Strong references and the right to work in the UK
