An established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Mayfair is seeking a tech-savvy Senior Family Office Bookkeeper / Payroll Manager to join its professional team. Working within a family office environment, the firm provides a range of accounting and financial services, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to become a valued member of the team and play an important role in its day-to-day operations.

This is a varied position that would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. The role combines payroll management, bookkeeping and wider financial administration, requiring someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in accuracy and can be relied upon to manage responsibilities efficiently.

The successful candidate will oversee payroll processes and maintain accurate financial records, while supporting a range of bookkeeping activities, reconciliations, supplier payments and reporting requirements. They will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, communicate clearly and professionally, and understand the vital importance of discretion when dealing with confidential financial and client information.

Working 30-35 hours per week, exact working hours can be agreed upon with the successful candidate. The role is predominantly based in the office, though there is the option to work from home one day per week. The role is to ideally start from January 2027.
