About You

In order to assure the legacy of our whisky brands, we need you to be Fearless, have a Founders mentality, and treat others like Family as you partner with our Global Brand Teams and Operations Primos to develop and adhere to the strategy for our malts and blends.

Key Responsibilities

  • At all times adhere to Safety, Quality and Sustainability requirements at all Bacardi sites.
  • Ensure the Spirit Quality of all brands in the portfolio through adherence to the recipes, specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Working with the Blenders Team and wider Spirit Supply team to achieve the objectives of UK Operations Centre and the wider Bacardi business.
  • Document, request and track samples required for Single Malts, Premium blends, and any New Product Development work.
  • Help coordinate and track sample requests for customers and/or Bulk Inventory Sales.
  • Assist in the project management and tracking of Blending related trials and projects and any related analysis.
  • Organise Duty Payment of samples when required.
  • Set out all samples for nosing, including New Make Spirit.
  • Record results in LIMS.
  • Organise the Sample Room to ensure that relevant samples are prepared for nosing and passed to the lab for any testing that may be required.
  • Participate in training on Casks and assessment of casks etc.
  • Participate in training on assessment of finished product and new make spirit.
  • Participate in DRAMS training as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent Data Collection, Planning and Reporting Skills.
  • Education to Degree level or equivalent Science/Technical based degree.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flex to changing priorities.
