Responsibilities
- Act as HR business partner for assigned teams.
- Provide coaching and counselling in the areas of policy interpretation and review, staffing, compensation & benefits, conflict resolution, performance management, engagement, recruitment, onboarding, talent development and succession planning.
- Provide HR support for employee relations issues e.g. performance management, attendance & timekeeping, discipline & grievance.
- Work and liaise with Union and Union representatives.
- Support design and ensure implementation of organizational changes aligned with talent strategy.
- Drive Building Capabilities programmes in line with global and local people strategy and plans.
- Support implementation of Global talent strategy, including diversity initiatives.
- Help build succession pipeline for critical roles.
- Support line managers in creation and implementation of development plans for identified population (e.g. top and rising talent).
- Coach and educate managers on the talent development methodology and development resources available.
- Facilitate training sessions and career development workshops.
- Recruit and integrate high quality candidates according to business needs, lead-time and recruitment cost targets.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures.
- Administer and communicate benefits programs, ensuring employee understanding and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures in terms of conduct, mobility, compensation & benefits, internal & external recruitment, onboarding, development, training, etc.
- Effectively partner with global and local SME’s.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with legal counsel as needed/required.
- Maintain HR systems (WorkDay), ensure data is kept up to date and correct and provide relevant analysis and reports as required.
- Partner with BES (Bacardi Excellence Services) to execute system changes.
- Monitor employee engagement level, support implementation of action plans to drive engagement.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ Years of Human Resource Experience required.
- Ability to navigate and influence in a matrix organizational structure.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience in building engagement in teams, driving change, and coaching / counselling leaders.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent organization and follow up skills; Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, instruct, and consult with others.
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits legislations, principles, policies and practices.
- Strong Knowledge of Employment Law and regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset; able to draw conclusions from reports and action plan based on data.
- Effective and resourceful candidate sourcing for various levels of positions.
- Ability to work within a highly confidential environment with professionalism.
Preference/Preferred:
- Experience in the Spirits and/or FMCG industry; experience working with unionized or operational environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
