Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Female Sonographer with specialist Gynaecology experience to support an ongoing weekend service. This role is ideal for a highly skilled practitioner with confidence in complex gynaecological scanning who is looking for consistent weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high quality gynaecological ultrasound examinations
- Undertake complex gynaecology scanning, including advanced diagnostic assessments
- Provide accurate reporting in line with clinical standards and protocols
- Communicate findings clearly to referring clinicians
- Maintain patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Sonographer with relevant postgraduate ultrasound qualification
- Proven experience in Gynaecology ultrasound
- Complex Gynaecology Scanning experience (essential)
- Female applicants only, due to the nature of the service and patient requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Excellent communication and professional judgement
