Job Summary
Are you a caring and motivated individual looking to make a difference in a fast‑paced clinical environment? We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic Urology Outpatients Department, supporting patients undergoing LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal Biopsy) and flexible cystoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain clinical environments for LATP and flexible cystoscopy clinics.
- Chaperone and assist patients during procedures.
- Carry out clinical observations and document vital signs.
- Support infection prevention and control practices.
- Assist with stock control and clinic equipment preparation.
- Provide reassurance and clear information to patients before, during, and after procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience within an Outpatient setting.
- Currently practicing or has practiced within Urology outpatients for a minimum of 6 months in the last 12 months.
Additional requirements: UK professional registration and successful completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service Check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
