The Surgical Assistant supports surgeons during operations by maintaining a sterile field, preparing instruments, and assisting with surgical tasks such as retracting tissues, controlling bleeding, and suturing. They help position patients, ensure safety, and contribute to efficient, high-quality surgical care.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse or qualified Surgical Technologist
• Experience in the operating room preferred

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
