Job Title: Pre-operative Assessment Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse to join our team. You will play a key role in assessing patients before surgery, ensuring they are medically fit and prepared for their procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments
- Perform clinical observations such as blood pressure, 12 lead ECGs, blood tests, and other relevant investigations.
- Identify and escalate any concerns regarding a patient’s fitness for surgery.
- Provide clear pre-operative advice and information to patients and their families.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with NHS policies.
- Must be registered with the NMC.
- Must have 2 years experience working in a pre-operative assessment clinic.
- Must be experienced in 12 lead ECGs.
