Help us reduce NHS waiting lists and deliver timely, high-quality care to patients across West London. We’re seeking experienced Plastic Surgeons with a strong background in hand surgery to support our busy outpatient clinics and minor operations pathways, working alongside a dynamic and supportive clinical team at 18 Week Support.
Your Role
- Lead and deliver high-quality hand surgery outpatient clinics and minor procedures
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a range of elective hand conditions
- Manage conditions including trigger finger, mallet finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve compressions, Dupuytren’s disease, ganglions, cysts, and arthritis
- Perform minor operative procedures independently where appropriate
- Collaborate with specialist nurses, fellow consultants, and the wider team
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and communication of outcomes
- Support continuous service and quality
What We’re Looking For
- GMC-registered Plastic Surgeon on the specialist register
- NHS experience essential
- Strong experience in hand surgery and elective minor procedures (Essential)
- Confident managing outpatient and minor ops pathways independently
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
