We are currently seeking experienced Dermatology surgical nurses to support weekend insourcing clinics in Dorset, helping deliver NHS waiting list initiatives across:

  • Minor Operations
  • Complex Minor Operations

This is an excellent opportunity to join experienced teams delivering high-quality patient care throughout all stages of the perioperative pathway.

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Be currently working within an NHS dermatology service providing surgical care
  • Have recent, hands-on experience supporting patients within:
  • Minor Ops
  • Complex Minor Ops
  • Have been actively undertaking this work for at least 6 months within the past 12 months
  • You will also have:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
    • Current NMC registration with no restrictions to practice
    • Proven experience working within a dermatology surgical setting in the NHS

    Responsibilities include supporting with:

    • Preparing patients for minor surgical procedures
    • Setting up equipment, instruments and procedure trolleys
    • Clinic and treatment room preparation
    • Assisting clinicians to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery
