About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Dermatology Outpatient Nurses to support weekend insourcing clinics, helping deliver NHS waiting list initiatives across a range of dermatology services.
This is an excellent opportunity to join experienced teams delivering high‑quality patient care within busy outpatient settings, supporting consultants and patients throughout their clinic journey.
Requirements
- Be currently working within an NHS dermatology outpatient service
- Have recent, hands‑on experience supporting dermatology outpatient clinics
- Have been actively undertaking this work for at least 6 months within the past 12 months
- Additional Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- Current NMC registration with no restrictions to practice
- Proven experience working within a dermatology outpatient setting in the NHS
- Excellent patient assessment, communication, and organisational skills
Responsibilities
- Preparing and supporting outpatient clinics
- Conducting patient observations and assessments where appropriate
- Assisting consultants during patient consultations and procedures
- Providing patient education and treatment advice
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Ensuring clinics run safely and efficiently while delivering excellent patient care
