We\’re on the hunt for passionate Dermatology Nurses to join our dermatology outpatient team in Oxford, working alongside top-notch professionals and under the guidance of our fantastic 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads.
We are passionate about providing the best service whilst working together as part of a close-knit team to tackle the NHS’s waiting lists. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse looking to develop their expertise in the anatomy of skin, and contribute to the care of patients with a wide range of skin conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating plans of patient care
- To work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team
- Performing minor dermatology operations, punch biopsies and excisions and ensuring that histology\’s are followed up.
- You will be part of the MDT, with medical, nursing and HCA support
- To assist with supporting minor surgical procedures
- To assist with the delivery of a patch testing
- To provide wound care and topical treatments, including Doppler and compression bandaging
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years outpatient experience
- Minimum most recent 6 months Dermatology experience
- NMC Registered Nurse
