An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Dermatologist to join our NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide expert care in the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, and complex dermatological cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient dermatology services.
  • Diagnose and manage a range of skin conditions, including performing minor surgical procedures.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, research, and service development.
  • Contribute to teaching and training of medical students and postgraduate trainees.
  • Ensure adherence to NHS clinical guidelines and patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practise.
  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Dermatology (or within six months of CCT at the time of interview).
  • Extensive experience in general and surgical dermatology.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
