Join us as a Consultant Dermatologist supporting NHS trusts with weekend and weekday service provision, including outpatient clinics, minor procedures, and skin lists across South West England (Southampton, Dorset). The role is a locum contract, part-time, flexible, with a 10-hour weekend shift (8:00-18:00) and requires a limited-company salary of £2,000 per day.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver dermatology outpatient clinic appointments and minor operative procedures.
- Manage waiting-list initiatives, aiming for 30 patients per clinic session and 14–16 patients per minor operative session.
- Record clinic letters and review results taking dictation and other necessary documentation.
- Work with a link nurse for induction into the NHS system.
- Attend scheduled weekend sessions, with training and orientation provided.
- Maintain professional development and participate in the 18 Week Support.
