Working as a Compliance Officer you will support our clinical workforce with onboarding and maintaining the compliance portfolio with documentation in line with internal and external legislations. Additionally, you will support hiring managers, the Workforce Management team and business stakeholders to provide a world-class clinician experience for newly hired clinical workers. You are responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new employee.

Responsibilities as a compliance officer include:

  • Obtain, review and store pre-employment and mandatory documentation in line with 18 Week Supports policies and processes.
  • Lead the management of clinicians onboarding process, proactively communicating with clinicians.
  • Work closely with a variety of teams across the business to coordinate compliance processes, ensuring they run smoothly and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, continually reviewing, and making recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
  • Proactively manage your pipeline of work, ensuring all clinicians are communicated with on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring compliance with all processes and always maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Compliance and onboarding experience, preferably within Health, Education or Public Sector.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, legislation, and regulatory body guidance on pre-employment checks, such as the Home Office and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
  • Experience of working in a flexible working, fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to assess situations and take calculated decisions based on learning and experience, to achieve longer-term service improvements.
  • Experience of working towards critical deadlines and under pressure.

Salary and package: £29,000 - £32,000 depending on experience + bonus.
