We are working with a valued client who is looking to add an experienced Floor Layer to their established maintenance team covering Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled floor layer with experience working in occupied residential properties, delivering high-quality flooring installations and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Laying and repairing a variety of floor coverings, including vinyl, safety flooring, cap and cove, laminate, and carpet tiles.
- Preparing subfloors, including screeding and floor levelling.
- Carrying out floor repairs and replacements in occupied and void properties.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Working closely with tenants and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Floor Layer.
- Strong knowledge of vinyl, safety flooring, wet rooms, and domestic flooring installations.
- Experience working within social housing, residential maintenance, or local authority contracts.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Company Van & Fuel Card provided.
