We are working with a valued client who is looking to add an experienced Floor Layer to their established maintenance team covering Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled floor layer with experience working in occupied residential properties, delivering high-quality flooring installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Laying and repairing a variety of floor coverings, including vinyl, safety flooring, cap and cove, laminate, and carpet tiles.
  • Preparing subfloors, including screeding and floor levelling.
  • Carrying out floor repairs and replacements in occupied and void properties.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Working closely with tenants and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Floor Layer.
  • Strong knowledge of vinyl, safety flooring, wet rooms, and domestic flooring installations.
  • Experience working within social housing, residential maintenance, or local authority contracts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
  • Company Van & Fuel Card provided.
