We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Groundworker to join a busy Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance team.
This is a permanent position and is ideal for someone looking for long‑term, stable employment. Please do not apply if you are seeking self‑employed, subcontractor, or temporary work.

Requirements
You must be experienced in carrying out groundworks and external repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, working independently to complete jobs safely and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Carry out paving, flagging, and pathway repairs
- Install and repair kerbs, edgings, and concrete works
- Complete fencing and gate repairs
- Undertake drainage repairs and unblocking works
- Carry out minor brickwork and external maintenance repairs
- Reinstate excavations and make good surrounding areas
- Repair and maintain driveways, footpaths, and communal areas
- Work safely within occupied residential environments
- Use a PDA/mobile device to receive, update, and close work orders
- Deliver excellent customer service when working around tenants and residents
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworker within Social Housing, Repairs & Maintenance, or Property Maintenance
- Experience working in occupied and void properties
- Skilled in hard landscaping, drainage, concreting, fencing, and general external repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Experience using PDA systems or mobile job management applications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background check / DBS check
