We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy repairs and maintenance team working across Guildford and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service within occupied residential properties. You will use your plumbing expertise while supporting a range of multi-trade maintenance tasks, helping to keep homes safe, comfortable and well maintained. You will play a key role in delivering efficient, first-time-fix solutions for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and installations, including:
- Leak detection and repair
- Hot and cold water systems
- Immersion heaters and tanks
- Bathroom and kitchen installations
- Complete multi-trade works including:
- Wall and floor tiling
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Patch plastering and making good
- Painting and decorating
- Accurately record job details and updates using mobile technology
- Work closely with supervisors, planners and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Conduct risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied homes
- Participate in out-of-hours and emergency call-out rota when required
- Support apprentices and contribute to their development
