To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Refurbishment Contracts Manager for our client in Walsall.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of a number of projects, each ranging from £40k to £2M, ensuring efficient and timely completions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation
- Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and select appropriate solutions to the issues presented
- Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as Bolster or Site Audit Pro
- Capable of overseeing numerous projects and directly employed operatives and subcontractors
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to produce health and safety documentation in line with current legislation
- Excellent man management capabilities
- Suitable contract management qualifications
- SMSTS
Ideally, you will have a Surveying/Building degree or equivalent level and have contract management experience within a maintenance/refurbishment environment.
