We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trades Person with proven experience in the social housing sector. The ideal candidate will be an expert in one core trade — Plumbing, Roofing, or Joinery — while also possessing hands-on skills in at least one additional trade, making them a reliable all-rounder capable of delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works in social housing properties.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship across your primary trade (Plumbing, Roofing, or Joinery).
- Undertake secondary trade tasks such as plastering, tiling, painting, decorating, or basic electrical work.
- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
- Ensure all works comply with current building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants and housing officers in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and performance targets.
- Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Roofing, or Joinery.
- Demonstrable experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, including risk assessments.
- Clean UK driving licence.
