We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trades Person with proven experience in the social housing sector. The ideal candidate will be an expert in one core trade β Must be very competent in Carpentry and plumbing β while also possessing hands-on skills in at least one additional trade, making them a reliable all-rounder capable of delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works in social housing properties.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship across your primary trade (Plumbing, Joinery).
- Undertake secondary trade tasks such as plastering, tiling, painting, decorating.
- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
- Ensure all works comply with current building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants and housing officers in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and performance targets.
- Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
Qualifications & Skills
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing or Joinery.
- Demonstrable experience in social housing repairs and maintenance beneficial.
- Hands-on ability in at least one additional trade (e.g., plastering, tiling, decorating, basic electrics).
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, including risk assessments.
- Clean UK driving licence. Company van and Fuel card provided
- Clean DBS check.
