The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumber, carpenter, or plasterer with strong additional skills across general building maintenance, including tiling, plastering, painting & decorating, and flooring. This role is essential in ensuring safe, high-quality homes and delivering excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plumbing repairs — Carry out repairs, installations, and maintenance across occupied and void properties.
- Fault diagnosis — Identify and resolve leaks, blockages, heating issues, and sanitary ware defects.
- Carpentry tasks including:
- Boxing-in pipework
- Fitting bath panels
- Installing kitchen units or worktops
- Door easing, adjustments, and minor joinery repairs
- Multi-trade work including:
- Tiling — splashbacks, small wall/floor areas, repairs
- Plastering — patch plastering, small-area skimming
- Painting & decorating — walls, ceilings, woodwork, touch-ups, full room refreshes
- Flooring — vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles, minor sub-floor preparation
