Our client is expanding their repairs and maintenance team and is looking for a reliable, experienced Multi-Trade Floor Layer to help keep homes safe, comfortable, and well-maintained across a social housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a flooring specialist with additional multi-trade skills who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in delivering first-class customer service. What You'll Be Doing * Installing Polysafe safety flooring and carrying out cap and cove installations for wet rooms. * Installing, repairing, and maintaining a range of flooring types including: * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of finish, safety, and customer satisfaction. * Working independently and as part of a wider responsive repairs team. * Undertaking additional multi-trade works including: * Basic plumbing repairs * Carpentry repairs and installations * Patch plastering and making good * Damp-proofing works * General maintenance tasks as required * Maintaining accurate records and adhering to health and safety procedures at all times. What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a Floor Layer within domestic, maintenance, or social housing environments. * Strong experience installing Polysafe safety flooring and cap & cove systems. * Additional skills in plumbing, carpentry, plastering, damp proofing, or general multi-trade repairs would be highly advantageous. * A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. * Excellent communication and customer service skills when working within occupied homes. * Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. * Full UK driving licence. * CSCS Card or equivalent is beneficial.
