Joiners / Carpenters - Ongoing Work
Location: Cuddington, Cheshire & surrounding areas
Job Type: Self-Employed / CIS
Pay: £175 per day, with opportunity to increase
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Start: ASAP following a successful trial period
We are currently recruiting experienced Joiners / Carpenters to join a busy and expanding building contractor based in Cuddington, Cheshire.
There is ongoing work across multiple projects, including new builds, extensions, renovations and refurbishments, with the opportunity to secure a long‑term position and progress within the company.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled joiner with experience carrying out general carpentry and joinery work across building projects.
Work may include:
- First and second fix joinery
- Door hanging and fitting
- Skirting boards, architraves and finishing work
- Timber framing and general carpentry
- Joinery on new builds and extensions
- Renovations and refurbishments
- General building and repair work
What's On Offer?

- Company van available after a few weeks, once you've proved yourself
- Van available for personal use
- Your own petrol/fuel costs covered by you; the company covers other running costs
- Monday‑Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Work across Cuddington and surrounding Cheshire areas
- Self‑employed / CIS basis
- Immediate start following a successful trial
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter
- Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools and transport preferred initially
- NVQ and CSCS desirable but not essential
- Willing to complete a short trial period to demonstrate your skills
- Full UK driving licence required for the company van opportunity
