A reliable and experienced multi-skilled trades professional is required to deliver repairs, maintenance, and small works across a social housing portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a qualified carpenter with strong additional skills across general building maintenance, including tiling, plastering, plumbing, and painting quality homes while delivering excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carpentry tasks including:
- Boxing in pipework
- Fitting bath panels
- Installing kitchen units or worktops
- Door easing, adjustments, and minor joinery repairs
- Multi trade work including:
- Tiling splashbacks, small wall/floor areas, repairs
- Plastering patch plastering, small area skimming
- Painting walls, ceilings, woodwork, touch ups, full room refreshes
- Flooring vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles, minor sub floor preparation
- General property maintenance tasks
Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards. Maintain accurate job records using digital job management systems. Communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors. Work independently or as part of a team to meet service targets.
