We are seeking an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Registered Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well-established social housing maintenance team covering Birmingham, Oldbury, and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, permanent position within the social housing sector, carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and breakdown maintenance in occupied residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out landlord gas safety inspections (CP12s)
- Servicing domestic gas boilers and heating systems
- Diagnosing and repairing boiler and heating breakdowns
- Fault finding and resolving gas-related issues
- Completing repairs safely and efficiently to a high standard
- Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
- Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Current Gas Safe Registration
- ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
- Previous experience in gas servicing and breakdowns
- Experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance environments preferred
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Professional and customer-focused approach
