Alongside preserving and maintaining our collection, we support a fast-moving international client base whose projects often require quick thinking, meticulous planning and exceptional attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, collaborative and proactive to join our growing team.
The Role
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the archive. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the collection, while also playing a key role in preparing the archive for client appointments and research visits. The position combines meticulous archive management with a creative understanding of fashion, garment construction and visual storytelling. It requires someone who enjoys planning ahead but is equally comfortable adapting quickly when priorities change. Excellent communication is essential, as the role works across every part of the business and requires close collaboration with colleagues, clients, couriers and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Archive Management
- Maintain the organisation, presentation and condition of the archive to the highest standard.
- Catalogue and accurately track all garments entering and leaving the archive.
- Responsible for shipping internationally, and coordinating returns with clients.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain storage systems and continually improve archive processes.
- Monitor the condition of garments and ensure appropriate handling, storage and preservation techniques are followed.
- Coordinate incoming acquisitions and integrate them into the archive.
- Client Preparation
- Interpret client briefs and identify relevant garments for research appointments.
- Pull and return archive pieces efficiently and accurately.
- Call in garments from external storage when required, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare rails and curate selections ahead of client visits.
- Present the archive to an exceptional standard before every appointment.
- Support photoshoots, fittings and creative research sessions.
- Studio Operations
- Help manage the day-to-day running of the studio.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare international and domestic hires.
- Assist with inventory checks and regular stock audits.
- Ensure the archive remains an inspiring, organised and welcoming creative environment.
