As the Creative & Marketing Assistant you will contribute towards representing, managing, marketing and growing a selection of brands. You will help manage and shape our clients' Amazon e-commerce portal, their brand digital presence and marketing campaigns. You will contribute towards embodying the personality and the voice of a brand.
You will need to use your creativity, strategy and marketing skills to help plan, devise and create marketing/branding concepts, ad copy and creative digital assets: these will need to be rolled out online on the Amazon advertising and shopping platform. By conducting regular testing and keeping a close eye on KPIs, together with the Creative Manager and the Operations & Marketing Manager, you will constantly refine actions, assets and strategies, identifying which practices and methods provide the optimum results, impact, reach and best revenue performance. You will be required to contribute towards providing regular reporting and you will also ensure marketing programmes are compliant, delivered on time and yield the required revenue targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- MARKETING: Support implementation of digital marketing strategies including social media advertising, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC). Improving the reach and profitability of marketing programmes. Utilising data analytics tools to track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing efforts. Continually testing, measuring and refining both strategy and campaigns; Supporting the Operations & Marketing Manager with Product Management and Online Catalogue Management (Amazon, Shopify, etc.). Contribute to setting out and executing ongoing strategy to achieve revenue targets agreed with business;
- CREATIVES: Support development and production of engaging written and visual artwork content that aligns with the clients' brand identity and marketing strategy; Ensuring consistent application of the brand's visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across all marketing channels and materials; Supporting the Creative Manager to contribute towards constantly evolving, innovating and creating a stand-out brand experience for our portfolio of clients;
- OPERATIONS, REPORTING AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT: Support with the management of the day-to-day operations of our clients’ Amazon ecommerce channels. Updating Regular Reports to the business on marketing campaigns results. Conduct market research to understand customer behaviour and competitor trends, using insights to inform decision-making. General Support to the management team with various day-to-day tasks.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Competent communication and presentation skills;
- Educated to degree level or A'level/B-Tech school/college leavers. A qualification in marketing/business - desirable but not essential.
- 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths are essential.
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Some experience with search and display marketing platforms would be beneficial (Google Ads, Amazon Advertising, etc.);
- An understanding of website analytics, social media platforms and digital advertising best practices;
- Proven ability to create and edit digital/video assets (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, FinalCut or equivalent);
- Ability to react quickly and adapt in a fast pace environment;
- Good eye for detail and both a creative & commercial mindset;
- The ability to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision;
- Some copywriting or editorial experience is extremely beneficial;
- Positive mindset and self-motivate; Enthusiastic, energetic, and upbeat.
Additional Information
Location: Hybrid working from home and/or from our office in Haslemere, Surrey. Remuneration: £22k to £24k depending on experience. Hours: Full time position 9am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
