Are you highly organised, confident speaking with customers, and looking for a role where administration meets sales support? We are looking for a proactive and motivated Protection Administrator / Sales Support team member to join our growing business. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity where you will support our Protection Advisers, manage live applications, speak with clients, and help grow our Buildings & Contents Insurance sales from our existing client bank. If you enjoy being busy, taking ownership of your workload, and being part of a fast‑paced, supportive team – we would love to hear from you. This role would also suit someone starting out in their career who is looking to gain valuable experience and potentially progress into future financial services or sales‑based roles.

The Role

You will play a key role in ensuring protection cases progress smoothly from application through to on risk, while delivering excellent customer service throughout the journey. Alongside administration duties, you will also support business growth by contacting clients, booking appointments, following up leads, and selling Buildings & Contents Insurance to warm existing customers. This role would suit someone who enjoys both organisation and speaking with people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Protection Administration
    • Manage protection applications from submission through to policies going live.
    • Liaise with insurers and providers to chase progress and resolve queries.
    • Keep advisers and clients updated throughout the application process.
    • Maintain accurate records on internal systems.
    • Ensure documentation and compliance records are complete and up to date.
    • Contact new and existing leads on behalf of advisers.
    • Re‑engage clients who may benefit from a protection review.
    • Book appointments into adviser diaries.
    • Gather initial client information ahead of appointments.
  • Buildings & Contents Insurance
    • Contact existing clients regarding Buildings & Contents Insurance opportunities.
    • Obtain quotations and present suitable options.
    • Follow up warm leads and quotations.
    • Convert opportunities into completed sales.

  • Proven strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Sales confidence or previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience within financial services, insurance, mortgages, or protection is beneficial, but not essential.
