At 177 Mortgages, our Case Managers play a vital role in the client journey, acting as the link between clients, lenders, solicitors and advisers to ensure applications progress smoothly from submission through to completion.

We're looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual to join our growing team. Mortgage experience is great, but it isn't essential. If you're highly organised, enjoy helping people, can juggle multiple tasks and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing mortgage applications from submission through to completion, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and regular communication throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients once their mortgage application has been submitted.
  • Contacting clients within 24 hours of application submission.
  • Chasing lenders, solicitors and third parties for updates.
  • Keeping clients and advisers updated throughout the mortgage process.
  • Obtaining and reviewing outstanding documentation.
  • Managing cases through workflow stages within our CRM system.
  • Reviewing mortgage offers and ensuring details are accurate.
  • Proactively resolving issues and helping to keep cases moving.
  • Maintaining accurate records and case notes.
  • Liaising with introducers and third parties where required.
  • Referring clients for additional services where appropriate.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administration or case management experience.
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Enjoys speaking to clients and building relationships.
  • Can work independently whilst also being part of a team.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Is comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working within a mortgage brokerage, estate agency, lender or other financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of the mortgage process.
  • Experience of working towards service levels and deadlines.
