We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar and hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. Duties
- Lead and supervise the bar team to ensure efficient and professional service delivery
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor inventory to minimise waste
- Ensure all beverages are prepared according to company standards and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health regulations
- Develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, incorporating new drinks and food options
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Train new staff members on service protocols, safety procedures, and product knowledge
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts within a hospitality environment
- Strong supervising experience with demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent team management skills with a focus on motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment
- Extensive restaurant, hotel, or bar experience demonstrating versatility across food service operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food production, and hygiene protocols

- Experience in kitchen experience or working alongside culinary teams is advantageous
