We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating HR processes, supporting employees, and working with HR systems and data to ensure information is accurate, compliant, and up to date. You will be the first point of contact for many HR-related queries and play a key role in delivering an excellent employee experience. Success in this role will require exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a systems-focused mindset, as you'll help manage HR processes, maintain accurate employee data, support workforce reporting, and contribute to ongoing HR technology initiatives, including Workday and Dayforce. This position is best suited to someone who enjoys both the people side of HR and the operational side, ensuring that processes, records, and systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

HR Coordination & Employee Support

  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees across the UK business.
  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to routine employee questions.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new starters, including documentation and company inductions.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including probation reviews, contractual changes, family leave administration, and leaver processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support absence management processes and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Assist HR Business Partners and the Head of HR with employee relations administration, including meeting coordination and note-taking where required.
  • Help drive engagement initiatives, including stay interviews, exit interview analysis, wellbeing activities, and organisational updates.

HR Systems & Reporting Support

  • Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems.
  • Produce regular workforce, headcount, and people reports.
  • Support data audits and help ensure HR records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
  • Assist with HR system enhancements, user queries, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Support Workday and Dayforce implementation activities, including data validation, testing, and migration support.
  • Help identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve reporting capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or HR Generalist role.
  • Strong HR administration and employee lifecycle experience.
  • Experience working with HR systems and maintaining employee data.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Workday, Dayforce, or other HR systems.
  • Experience supporting HR reporting and workforce data analysis.
  • Involvement in HR system implementation or data migration projects.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) and/or relevant HR degree.
