The Position
This role is perfect for someone who has experience leading the bar of a busy restaurant, creating and developing cocktails menu and are looking for the next step up the hospitality career ladder. They will take full accountability for the Bar, before during and after service, working in partnership with the Head Sommelier and the front of house team to create exceptional experiences for our guests.
You will be responsible for all bar stock, reporting any quality-issue/variances, missing deliveries or wastage. You will be proud to deliver a memorable beverage product and service, and will use your extensive experience and training skills to develop the team around you.
Our Bar Manager will have:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a premium high volume Bar / Private members venue;
- Proven ability to lead a team of people including recruit, manage, train and motivate a bar team;
- Holder of valid Personal License, or knowledge of UK licensing Laws;
- Passionate about cocktails, spirits, beers and wine;
- Comprehensive knowledge of ingredients, trends and drinks design;
- Skilled in training preparation and delivery;
- A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail;
- Experience in planning and managing staff costs, scheduling and staff rotas;
- Confidence in finances, purchasing, menu costing and budget/profit management;
- A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures.
