Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist

The Opportunity
At 167 Solutions, we are partnering with a globally recognised, enterprise organisation to hire an experienced IAM Specialist on a permanent basis. This is a key hire sitting across Security, IT Operations, and HR Technology, with full ownership of the organisations identity ecosystem. You will play a critical role in building a secure, scalable, and automated access environment, ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time.
The Role
- Manage and optimise identity platforms including: Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID), Okta Workforce Identity, AWS IAM
- Design and implement joiner-mover-leaver (JML) lifecycle processes integrated with HR systems (HiBob or similar)
- Drive automation across provisioning and access management
- Enforce least privilege and zero-trust security principles
- Support and troubleshoot: SSO / MFA, Federated identity (SAML, OIDC, SCIM)
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to support: Audits, Access reviews, Regulatory requirements
- Work within ITSM frameworks (Jira Service Management / ITIL)
- Enhance reporting and automation using PowerShell or Python
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an IAM / Identity Engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with: Active Directory / Azure AD, Okta, AWS IAM
- Experience integrating IAM with HR systems (HiBob or similar)
- Solid understanding of: SAML, OIDC, SCIM, Identity lifecycle management (JML)
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python
- Experience working in hybrid or cloud-first environments
- Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM processes
Desirable
- Experience with Okta Workflows or Privileged Access
- Exposure to AWS SSO / Identity Center
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR
- Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf)
