A fast-growing technology consultancy is looking for a talented AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer to join their expanding AI practice. This is a high-impact role working on real client projects across generative AI, machine learning and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build and deploy machine learning and AI solutions for enterprise clients
- Develop models using Python, PyTorch and modern ML frameworks
- Work with large datasets to train, evaluate and optimise models
- Implement and scale solutions on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, etc.)
- Contribute to generative AI initiatives using Hugging Face and open-source models
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver production systems
- 3-8 years experience in AI, Machine Learning or Data Science roles
- Strong Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch
- Experience with Hugging Face transformers or similar frameworks
- Solid experience deploying ML solutions on AWS
- Understanding of MLOps, model deployment and performance optimisation
- Ability to work in a consultancy environment with multiple clients
- Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines or generative AI applications
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD for ML
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure/GCP)
- £80,000-£120,000 base salary
