Overview
167 Solutions Ltd are recruiting for a Staff Software Engineer to join a fast-scaling organisation building production-grade AI and full stack solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to the business, solving real-world problems, and delivering solutions at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable full stack applications
- Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions including LLM integrations and RAG systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Lead rapid prototyping and production delivery
- Contribute to architecture decisions across multiple projects
- Mentor engineers and support technical best practice
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with React, Next.js or similar frameworks
- Cloud experience, ideally AWS
- Experience building and deploying production systems
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs or retrieval-based systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Desirable
- Experience in consulting, forward deployed or product-led environments
- Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and infrastructure as code
- Exposure to data pipelines or multiple database types
