Overview
Role: Welder Fabricator Installation
Location: Main office Barnsley (Site work)
Salary: around £17 per hour (Neg. depending on experience), + Travel, OTA, Overtime etc.
About the Company
My client is a leading fabrication company, specialising in the manufacture of steel structures from balconies, balustrades, staircases etc for a number of clients UK wide.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld internal structures as part of on-site installations.
- Work on mezzanine floors, staircase towers, steel framed buildings.
- Fabricate balustrades in brass, stainless steel, mild steel and glass.
- Produce straight flight and spiral staircases and balconies; fit railings.
- Operate across aluminium fabrication, stainless steel fabrication, sculpture design & fabrication as required.
- Travel to sites; work on-site as part of project teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Apprentice-trained/certified welder with several years of experience.
- Confident with aluminium fabrication, sculpture design & fabrication, and stainless steel fabrication (preferred).
- Willing to travel to sites, with a commutable distance to the Barnsley factory.
