We are working with a reputable subcontract Engineering manufacturing company in Rotherham, currently looking for an experienced FLT/Labourer to join the team. This is a permanent role and will be on the Day shift Mon – Thurs.

Hours: Mon – Thurs 7am – 6pm (42 hours)

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000

Duties will involve:

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of laser cutting machines
  • Retrieving materials from racking systems to allocate to machines
  • Packing and palletising of finished goods, ready for dispatch
  • Assisting with stock control and keeping working areas tidy
  • Operating the forklift trucks

Key Skills:

  • You must hold a valid FLT Licence
  • Be organised and methodical
  • Be open and willing to undertake training on the laser cutting machine and press brakes

Renumeration:

  • 42 hour 4 day week (£28,000)
  • Profit related bonus scheme: 8% PRBS which is calculated every three months and paid the month after. The scheme is open to new members each January. However, you must complete 6 months employment to be eligible to join.
  • 16 days holiday (pro rata based on a 4 day week) extra day for birthday
  • Xmas shutdown covered by the company
