Location: Castleford

Salary: Starting on days for training (£14-15.00ph depending on experience). Moving on to shifts after training, with a shift pattern of alternate early lates and a 17% allowance (£17.38ph).

  • Mon - Thurs: 6am-2pm
  • Fri: 6am-12.30pm
  • Lates - Mon - Thurs: 2pm-10pm
  • Fri: 12.30-6pm

We are working with a company in Castleford which manufactures moulds out of various metals used in the food and beverage industry. Looking for someone who has experience in a manufacturing/engineering background to join the CNC machining team as a Turner.

The role is for a setter operator; any programming is done offline. The company is open to candidates who have been working in a production manufacturing role and have had an introduction to CNC machining but would like to progress to more technical work.

Experience of lathes would be an advantage but not essential. Experience of working from engineering drawings would also be an advantage. Full training is on offer for the right candidate. This is a permanent role, although the first 12 weeks will be worked via the agency. You will then move on to the shift work which comes with a premium of 17.5% per hour on the basic rate.
