Role: Metal worker/polisher
Location: Castleford
Salary: up to £15.26 (depending on experience) on training which is days 07.30 - 4pm Fri. After training, shift pattern of Alternate early lates with 17% allowance (£17.38ph) Mon - Thurs 6am-2pm Fri 6am-12.30. Lates: Mon - Thurs 2pm-10pm Fri 12.30-6pm.
We are working with a company in Castleford which manufactures moulds out of various metals used in the food and beverage industry. Looking for someone who has experience in a manufacturing/engineering background who can join the assembly/fitting team.
Training will be given, duties will involve:
- Utilising air tooled die grinder and accessories
- Pillar and hand drill operation
- Minor welding to affect repair
- Final polishing
- Mould fitting including die taping, damage removal, parts fitting
- Various hand tools typical with fitters
