Role β CNC Setter Operator
Location - Castleford
Hours β starting on days and moving to alternate early and late shifts (Mon-Fri)
Basic day rate Β£15.5ph + Shift allowance Β£18.20ph
My client is a leading name in the field of precision engineering, specialising in making moulds used within the glass bottle industry from various metals.
You will ideally be an experienced CNC Machinist. Experience of Hurco controls and 5 axis machining will be a distinct advantage but not essential.
You will be able to set and operate the milling machine, understand engineering drawings, and have experience in a manufacturing environment working with various metals.
You will be able to do first off inspection and use hand tools and related equipment.
You will initially work on days to get familiar with processes and procedures and then move to shifts of alternate early and late:
- Mon β Thurs 6am β 2pm
- Fri 6am - 12.00
- Mon β Thurs 2pm β 10pm
- Fri 12.00 β 6pm
