Role- Assembly/Machine Operator Location- Eccles Hours 7am – 3pm Salary- negotiable depending upon experience We are looking for an experienced Production Manufacturing operative to take a key role, working for a sub contract Fabrication and sheet metal work company. Duties will involve Routing Machine Operation: Setting up and operating a CNC router to cut, shape, or profile sheet panels (metal, composite, or plastics) to precise dimensions. Panel Preparation: Cleaning, deburring, and positioning the panels after routing to prepare them for reinforcement. Stud Welding: Using a specialized stud welder to fast-fuse threaded studs, pins, or fasteners onto the metal panels without causing burn-through or marking on the reverse side. Stiffener Fitting: Aligning and securing structural stiffeners (like metal ribs, channels, or bars) over the studs to reinforce the panels and prevent them from flexing or warping under load.
