We’re seeking an experienced, commercially driven Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement and supply chain operations within a globally respected SME design and manufacturing business. This is a senior, hands-on role with real influence. You’ll lead a small, high-performing team, build strong supplier partnerships, and work closely with senior leaders to deliver cost savings, supply resilience and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop procurement, materials and stores operations
  • Own end-to-end procurement across materials, components and services
  • Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing and negotiation
  • Build and manage key supplier relationships, including international sourcing
  • Ensure continuity of supply and optimise inventory and warehouse operations
  • Shape and deliver procurement strategy aligned to business goals

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills (CIPS desirable)
  • A confident leader with a continuous improvement mindset
