We are working with a well-established manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and develop their warehouse and logistics function. This is a key operational leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, robust inventory control, full regulatory compliance, and exceptional internal and external customer service.
The Role:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the warehouse team to deliver high performance and world-class service
- Manage warehouse KPIs, budgets, and operational costs
- Oversee proactive inventory management, cycle counting, and stock accuracy
- Optimise material handling to support manufacturing operations
- Manage freight forwarding activities and ensure import/export compliance
- Ensure adherence to Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and systems
About You:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP systems
- Experience managing teams and driving operational performance
- Understanding of customs procedures and freight forwarding operations
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Calm under pressure, structured, and improvement-focused
Desirable:
- Formal qualification in Warehousing or Operations Management
- HMRC Customs and Export Clearance experience
