We are an established SME manufacturing business, part of a wider group, supplying industrial process equipment into demanding industrial markets. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to drive both account development and new business.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role combining strategic sales leadership with direct customer engagement. You will be responsible for managing key accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across core industrial sectors. The role involves regular customer visits, tendering activity, and close collaboration with internal engineering and commercial teams.
- Managing and growing key customer accounts
- Visiting customers on-site to understand applications and commercial drivers
- Spotting and developing commercial opportunities within existing accounts
- Selling solutions into Oil & Gas, EPC contractors, Process and Chemical industries
- Working closely with engineering, operations, and senior management
You will be a commercially driven sales professional with a strong technical or industrial background.
- Proven experience selling industrial or process equipment
- Strong tendering and bid management experience
- Background in account management and new business development
- Experience selling into Oil & Gas, EPC, Process, or Chemical sectors
- Strong commercial awareness and opportunity-spotting skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
