Our client, a leading precision engineering and manufacturing business supplying the aerospace, defence, and energy sectors, is seeking a Head of Sales to lead their commercial function during a period of significant growth and operational transformation.

The Opportunity

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the sales team, overseeing business development, production administration, and marketing, and ensuring a smooth end‑to‑end sales process from RFQ to shop floor delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the sales, business development, marketing, and administration teams.
  • Oversee quoting, contract review, RFQs, sales order release and works order creation.
  • Drive growth in aerospace and defence and expand existing customer accounts across the UK, Europe, and North America.
  • Shape and deliver the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Support and optimise ERP process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong OEM and Tier 1 customer relationships.

About you

Experienced sales leader with hands‑on ability to win work. Background in subcontract manufacturing and precision engineering. Strong track record in aerospace and defence.
