We’re looking for a National Account Manager who knows how to win in the discounter channel - and isn’t afraid to open new doors.
Why’s this one different? This isn’t a “keep the lights on” account management role. It’s about building, winning, and scaling — with real autonomy and visibility. If you like responsibility, pace, and being judged on outcomes rather than noise, this will suit you. This is a newly created role with an innovative, growing supplier of nutritional products.
The Role
- You’ll own the UK Discounter channel end-to-end while driving new business across convenience, forecourts and wholesale.
- You’ll sit at the heart of a highly profitable health-focused business, working closely with the leadership team and European stakeholders to deliver an ambitious 3-year growth plan.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and growing key UK discounter relationships (think Aldi, Lidl, B&M etc)
- Winning new discounter listings and expanding distribution, range and promo effectiveness
- Building new business across convenience, forecourts and wholesale
- Creating compelling, channel-specific commercial propositions
- Leading negotiations on terms, promotions and trading agreements
- Taking full P&L responsibility – revenue, margin, investment and forecasts
- Turning data into decisions (and action)
- Collaborating cross-functionally to make launches and promotions actually work
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in National Account Management within FMCG (non-negotiable)
- A proven track record in UK discounters (non-negotiable)
- Strong new business development credentials (non-negotiable)
- The ability to travel regularly to West Yorkshire (minimum once a week but twice a week preferred)
- Background in health products, supplements, sports or lifestyle nutrition products would be advantageous, but an interest in those sectors is essential
- Commercially sharp, confident owning a multi-million pound P&L
Apply now if you're ready for a fresh challenge in a business that’s really going places.
