You’ll be right at the centre of driving growth across some of the UK’s biggest foodservice wholesalers. This is a role where you can genuinely make an impact, as the business – already well established globally in Grocery - looks to establish a major foothold in Foodservice. You’ll own key national accounts including Brakes and Bidfood, and shape how products land across the market. Day to day, you’ll be building joint business plans, spotting new opportunities, and leading commercial conversations that directly influence performance. You’ll also bring ideas to life through activations, working closely with marketing, category, and culinary teams. If you enjoy a mix of strategy, relationship building and hands‑on delivery, this will keep you engaged.
Along with a strong basic, the benefits package includes generous pension up 8% (matched and rising to 10%), private health care, health care cash plan and discounted gym memberships.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of top national wholesaler accounts inc Brakes & Bidfood
- Leading negotiations across pricing, rebates, promotions, and investment agreements
- Building and delivering joint business plans aligned to clear growth targets
- Identifying opportunities for new listings, wider distribution, and channel expansion
- Creating and executing activation plans that drive demand and sales

We are looking for strong National Account Management experience within foodservice (OOH channels), FMCG, or a similar route‑to‑market environment. You’ll be comfortable managing large, strategic accounts including Brakes & Bidfood, and working within complex customer structures. You’ll also bring:
- Hands‑on experience owning a customer P&L, including managing margins, trade spend, and forecasting
- A track record of leading annual price negotiations and agreeing commercial terms such as rebates and promotional funding
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse sales data, track performance and build clear, numbers‑led business cases
- Experience creating and delivering joint business plans with measurable outcomes
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without losing attention to detail
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making
Experience supporting or mentoring more junior team members would be an advantage, as there’s scope to take on leadership responsibility. The company is a global food business with a strong presence across dairy, fruit, and plant‑based products. With a portfolio of well‑loved brands and a clear focus on innovation and sustainability, they continue to grow in a competitive market. It’s a collaborative, fast‑moving environment where people are trusted to take ownership, think commercially and play a key role in shaping future success.
