You’ll likely be just starting out in your account management career, perhaps operating at NAE level but striving for some P&L ownership and exposure to the Grocery mults, supported by an experienced Commercial Director. With nationwide retail listings, ambitious growth plans and a fast-moving entrepreneurial culture, this brand is looking for a commercially driven Account Manager ready to step into a high-exposure, high-accountability role where performance and progression go hand in hand.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership, manage your own national accounts including Booths and Amazon Fresh, and support across Top 4 grocery multiples. You’ll also help drive new business growth across convenience and wholesale channels. This is a demanding environment where energy, ownership and output matter. The pace is fast, expectations are high and there is nowhere to hide. But for the right person, the opportunity is huge.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and develop national account relationships
- Support Top 4 grocery multiple accounts
- Deliver JBPs, promotions and customer reviews
- Analyse sales performance, market trends and retailer data
- Build compelling customer presentations and commercial proposals
- Identify new business opportunities across convenience and wholesale
- Support forecasting, pricing and promotional planning
- Build strong relationships with retailer buying teams
Experience we are looking for:
- Previous FMCG sales or account management experience
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Highly competent with spreadsheets and sales analysis
- Self-motivated, resilient and commercially ambitious
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Able to commute to London at least once per week
