Overview

Role – Assistant Marketing Manager (FMCG)

Salary - £45-47k + bonus and EXCELLENT benefits package

Location – Hybrid (3 days in Kent office, commutable from London)

You’ll play a key role in bringing brands to life across the out-of-home and foodservice channel, supporting campaigns, customers, and growth initiatives. This is a varied role where you’ll get stuck into everything from new product development and campaign planning to performance analysis and customer support.

Working closely with a Senior Marketing or Channel Manager, you’ll gain broad exposure across brand, trade, digital, and customer marketing. It’s a great opportunity to build hands-on experience quickly while helping shape how leading brands show up in the UK foodservice market.

Along with a strong basic, the benefits package includes generous pension up to 8% (matched and rising to 10%), private health care, health care cash plan and discounted gym memberships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting brand development, including artwork updates, innovation projects, and sales story creation
  • Working with wholesalers and key customers, supporting meetings and responding to their needs
  • Assisting with promotional planning and execution to ensure strong in-market delivery
  • Reviewing sell-in and sell-out data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Managing sponsorship activity, marketing calendars, and creating content for trade and digital channels
  • Supporting advertising and promotion budgets
  • Helping manage packaging artwork and UK market content

To succeed, you’ll already have some marketing experience, ideally in FMCG or foodservice, and be keen to develop in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including data analysis and presentations
  • Experience supporting campaigns or promotions and understanding their impact on sales
  • Some exposure to budget tracking or marketing spend
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, especially on artwork and campaign assets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
